Well, it's either a white out blizzard or a ton of fog because I can't see 10 feet outside my window.

I'm gonna go with fog...

Of course it looks like the damn storm system is starting to split and where that is headed.

I had to run to the south end of the county (That's where the only REI is) and I passed frantic road crews spraying brine on the roads, in anticipation of automotive Twister.

I've got my fingers crossed! Laurel really really really wants to see snow! What 5 year old doesn't? The principal at Laurel's school announced that there may be no school tomorrow, because of ice and snow. I could hear the cheering from out front, where I was waiting to pick Laurel up.

I'm just glad I bought a damn snow thrower before it started. I'd have done my back in by now if I'd had to shovel it all.

No precip here, but I did stand outside for nearly an hour listening to a coon hunter and his dogs; the dogs worked fast, but it took the hunter forever to reach the treed coon. I could watch the bobbing headlamp from my back yard. It took him 3 shots though.

We got about 2-3 inches of wet, crusty snow, and now its raining really well. This is the most precipitation we've had of any kind since about April. I'll take it!

Laurel's out of school today. We were outside playing in the snow at 6:30. I also just found out how warm her little REI jacket isn't. Looks like I have to upgrade to serious parkas for her for Yellowstone. Off to REI again, oh darn...Hell, I need to buy really cold winter stuff for myself and HPM, too.

In Townsend, we had rain. Not a flake of snow. Overcast is about 2500' so I couldn't see what happened above that.

That's why ya gotta move north, nct! We're getting our money's worth out of the snowblower we bought last winter; Plenty of snow on the ground, here. I love Marquette!

No snow in Knoxville, but sleet and ice all morning.

The auto body repair places are all drooling by now. It was pandimonium at morning rush hour. NGB and I said "screw this"...and stayed home until everyone else was in the ditch and the salt trucks ran.

It is now 34 and raining. Miserable weather.

It's 31 here, and a very slight drizzle that doesn't even show up on radar. My car was coated with ice this morning when I went out to start it and let it warm up first. THe roads all seem fine though.

It snowed most of the day Saturday, but it didn't accumulate. I was very disappointed. There's a few more chances of precip/ snow this week though, for which I am very glad. We really need to break this drought.
