YEAH! I got out again! “WingDing and I set out to hike the San Bernardino Trail. She was going to Limber Pines. And I hoped too climb up to the top of San Bernardino Peak. Also included is a trip from earlier that week. The trip report is with the pictures.. http://community.webshots.com/user/wld257” 7:43:21 PM 1/19/03 10:54:02 PM 1/19/03 “Thank you Tango!” 10:55:27 PM 1/19/03 “You're welcome. The pics were great! The views were awesome! I loved the sun bursts in some of the pictures!” 11:01:35 PM 1/19/03 11:30:27 PM 1/19/03 “Great pics. Thanks! The San Bernardino Peak Trail is the first one I hiked on in the San Gorgonio Wilderness and one of my favorites.” 1:42:11 AM 1/20/03 “Very Nice pictures WingDing” 11:07:59 AM 1/20/03 “Nice pictures you guys, thanks for posting! I may have to get down that way some day.” 11:23:40 AM 1/20/03 “Cool pics, WLD. I like the sun effect on those two photos. Beautiful area.” 11:38:17 AM 1/20/03 “Nice pics, thanks for sharing.” 11:44:41 AM 1/20/03 “Those two pictures turned out really well. They were both taken by WingDing, who is getting really good with that Digital camera of hers.” 12:25:43 PM 1/20/03 “Thanks for the picture compliments. Phil - the San Bernardino Trail is very beautiful. I keep saying that I'm going to head up there and camp at Limber Pine Bench because the view can be so nice from that spot. I think I'll do that the next trip I take up that trail.” 12:52:50 AM 1/21/03 “wingding - I still have not camped there either. One time I was patroling that trail in early July. People had reserved Limber Pine Bench long in advance so they could camp there on July 4 and watch the fireworks below. They said it was awesome! I've always wanted to try that. Not sure what the water is like at Limber Pine. It would be nice if it is flowing better this year.” 12:57:07 AM 1/21/03 “Phil: I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we will get lots more snow and rain. At the lower elevations of the San Gorgonio Wilderness there are so many dead trees that have been killed by that beetle bacause that are weak from the drought.” 10:23:19 AM 1/21/03
