If you had to choose one thing to protect, what would it be?

1. Older Adults
2. Children
3. Animals
4. Conservation/wildlife

Me, I have chosen to help the animals.
I found that I wourk better with animals then people. I get to attached to humans.

Children, without a doubt. Everything else you listed has the resourses to survive, execpt the children. They need to be taught how to survive. Without that help (our help) they would die in a matter of hours......

mmm... chocolate cake

wildlife, just because it needs the most attention, if it's not protected it will surely be destroyed

what would you do?
Your walking down the steps, you see that the train you need just pulled in the station. As you go down you are stopped by a woman that does not speak very good english.
Do you
1. say you don't understand her and run to cath your train
2. you stop to help her, even thou you know you are going to miss the train.

Save the children
Protect and educate them

Without them, there will be no adults, elderly or wildlife.

I feel like hillary clinton when I say this but. Gotta be the kids. You can teach em all the stuff to save old people, trees and animals.

" It takes a village idiot to raise a child" An Olde Proverb (please note the added "e" to old, that shows how authentic this proverb is)

birch, that's hilarious!

for me, conservation or protecting animals would be easiest and most natural...but i feel more strongly about protecting children. i've thought about doing social work before, but when it comes down to it, i just don't know if i could deal with really horrible situations. nothing fills me with rage more than the thought of sexual abuse of children, and there's nothing i wish i could do something about more than that (convoluted sentence, i know). but at the same time, it just sickens me so much that i want to avoid facing it at all.

old people, i'm just afraid of in general.

Ok so my question has raised alot more questions!
Thats what i wanted.

So here is part 2

Now that you have been asked the question, as to what you think needs more protection

what are you going to do with the infomation?

You all had to look deep down inside to find the right answer for YOURSELF.

I mayself am tring to do as much as I can.

1. I volunteer at the Aquarium
2. I volunteer in the summer for homeless children by taking them into the woods for trips and teach them all about nature but while having fun doing it!
This is two folds.
3. i volunteer by adopting a trail in New York.
4. I volunteer by watching 2 rare plants.
5. Help take care of my elderly mother-in-law

So that is how Im helping.
It seems that alot of people are saying its the children. I agree, but I am thin skined when it come to children and adult. Thats one of my faults. i take everything to heart when it comes to children and older adults. I tried to work one on one with them, But I found it too hard to handele. so thats why I have chosen animal and nature.

Its hard to find the time, but it has to be done.
