Good luck my friend..
If it helps here are my stats for 2002

Jan 1, 2002....6'0"..248 lbs
Jan 1, 2003....6'0"..215 lbs

I had a good year.

I was using the 40,30,30 plan
40% protien
30% fat
30% carb
2000 to 2500 cal/day, but no junk, all fresh food.

kind of a modified Atkins plan.
Exercise 4 to 5 days a week (hike, bike, run, swim) whatever I chose to do but it had to be for at least 1 hour.

Also , the best $85.00 I have ever spent was on my George Foreman grill. With that I can throw on a chicken breast and have it grilled to perfection with rice and a drink in 10 minutes, easy clean up too.

Go Man Go!
Good luck.

I hate to disagree with you on the George Foreman grill.....but, I didn't think it was that easy to clean, but do like the results of cooking on it.

My experience has been pretty good using chicken, ground beef, salmon and pork chops.

Maybe you should lay off trying to grill lobster?

I agree - we need the "George Foreman Grill Easy Clean-Up Guide" more than anything!

I have the Foreman grill and use it about 3-5 times a week, in the colder months when I can't grill on my BBQ. The key to cleaning it is to clean it right after yer done using it. Stuff just wipes off. If you don't want to do that, plug it in and warm it up for a few then clean it. I never had success with "grilling" steaks, but red meat burgers, turkey burgers, chicken breasts and such turn out great.

I wish you success, wsdavies!

George is good for grilling them Boca burgers. :) Whenever I get cravings for a big juicy burger with all the trimings I just pop one of thoses baby's in there. Not only is it healthy for you but theres practically no clean up.

I don't think Boca burgers qualify as "big" and "juicy".

It doesnt. But add a slice of cheese, some avocado, pickles, mustered, tomato.... it works.

Portabello mushrooms are better "veggie burgers" than Boca Burgers any day.

George Forman Grill. . . that was one of the things the owner of our new condo was NOT going to leave.

Pathman, I love Portobello mushrooms! We found a deli in Mammoth that makes Grilled Veggie sandwiches, with portobello mushrooms! At work, when we order lunches, I try to get a Portobello mushroom salad. Don't know what kind of dressing they use but its good!

I just ate a hot & spicy pickled egg and it was good!

Big Wave Dave....I don't even like lobster!!! ppppppttt Anyway I like how hamburgers and steak taste off it, but the cleaning is the pits.

I like cooking in cast iron...it's the best!!! Even better the grill, then there's not much of a clean up.
