We have at least 1/2 inch and its just starting, School already closed in most of northern middle TN. Some of my friends are going tomorrow to Virgin Falls for an overnight trip. I think I'll stay home and chase the missus.

Why is TN getting all the snow this year. SW United States is getting ready for one of the worst droughts in recent memory with as little precip we've had this year.

Anyway, go sledding for me.

i can tell you why TN is getting all the winter weather this year. Because we moved from TN to SC!!

Anyway, we have snow here in Columbia, SC. Looks like it's going to stick too. Everything will be shutting down here real soon. People will be freaking out. HAHAHA....

Nashville got between 1"-2" of snow last night. Nothing like watching the pickup trucks slide through the red lights.

We got about half an inch here in Huntsville, completely unexpected. Schools are closed, businesses opening late, etc., etc....

thanks Buddha Bear, I appreciate that but lets hope you stick around for a while.

I did leave home very early so I wouldn't have to put up with the rush hour traffic. I got to work at 6:00 am and I am ready for a nap now...yawn

lyra, they close the schools here if they think it's going to snow...last year they closed the schools because of a forecast, there was no snow the next day...it's hilarious.

can't belive Columbia got at least 3 inches of snow. I heard that only happend once.

a friend of mine form TN called me today and said last week they had 6 or 6 inches in the Clarksville area. ahhhh, it never snowed like that when I lived there.

well, my kids finally are able to use their snow gear I bought last year way to big. (no snow it the smokeys last year either)
