Did you know that grits and polenta are the same thing? One is southern and one is Italian but they are both ground corn.

Frog do you have a spy camera in my kitchen? That is what I had for breakfast this morning. I was teaching my son how to make cream of wheat with rasins this morning (via the phone) and thought 'this is the first thing I learned to cook' I remember my dad teaching me.

Cream of Wheat...ugh...I have always preferred Cream of Rice...yummy....Just some butter and sugar, so tasty, and so hard to clean out of the pan once it has dried in there, lol...

Ok,,,how about it....should we string him up now, or wait until later?

In the south, we balance the corn crop,,,,,grits, bourbon, sour mash and moonshine.

Remember, corn don't grow on Rocky Top,,,soils too rocky by far,,that's why folks on Ole Rocky Top get their corn from a jar
