How do you get a picture inserted in your post?

After you complete your profile, Matt will e-mail you some rules and regulations. Instructions for posting pictures, etc., will be included in the e-mail.

LOL!!! Don't listen to AdakHiker...... Heck, I don't even think Matt likes photos on threads. OHHHHH NOOOOOOO!

Just go back and search for some html threads. The photo must be posted on a website. However, photos posted at webshots usually don't work to well.

Believe me.... it took a lot of work to get to this point, but in html and figuring out how to post my own webpages with photos from the Buffalo River Trail hike!

LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG TIME!!

Posting links is much easier...

Looking good there JerBear. Where was that picture taken?

It was just downriver from the Steel Campground. In this shot, taken from the BRT, see the group of green trees, just to the left of center and up slightly? That's where we camped. OK, it was on the Old River Trail, or horse trail or whatever it's called.

More of my photos are here:

And more are on Stikmon's webshots page:

Ahhh lizs, can't a guy have a little fun around here? Hikinokie's first post and he wants to know how to post a picture! Not even a "Hi, I'm new here. Can someone tell me where the privy is located?" I smell a troll. Besides, you even admit knowing that Matt does not like the pictures inserted.

Search results:
"There were no matches for hikinokie found on the site."

Thanks for the links. I do want to check out those pictures.

I've seen posts by Hikinokie before, maybe even when this BRT trip was discussed.... he might even have said where he was from in Oklahoma. He seems to be for real.

Perhaps.

My second son was born an okie, in Tulsa.

Great group, great location, and great pictures. Thanks, lizs. It looks like it was a very enjoyable hike.

WD, is this normal, that tents are set up this close together, when there's a pretty big area to spread out in?

I made a comment to them about that and at least a couple promptly moved elsewhere and those left at this specific site spread out more.

I mean, do you all want to fart and snore and talk in your sleep with the next guy's tent 2 feet away? Not me!! That's why I was wondering about MEN!!! lol

Me thinks I smell a Seinfeld-like episode entitled not "Close Talker," but "Close Tenter????!?" LOL! What is considered enough personal space between tents when you have a large area? I mean, these guys didn't physically have to be squished into a 20x20 area here......
lizs

I'd rather bash up one small area than a big area. Unless someone snores like Towndawg, other campers don't bother me.

liz - Not to rain on the fun, but....
Looks like snow was everwhere except where the tents were.
I would rather put my tent on snowfree ground too.
Snow melts and makes mud under your tent.

hikingirl - Your supposted to be 17? All those guys should look "old" to you. Most could be your daddy. You are sounding more like a troll.

Actually I've posted in other threads as well. I was posting here many years ago back in the 90's but the site was taken over by trolls so I blew it off. Now I'm back and don't recognize anyone except lipstick hiker. but most of y'all seem nice with one or two noteable exceptions. So hello, I'm hikinokie, k?

Stovestomper, not to rain on your parade, (oh my, what is that clap of thunder?? lol) there were other areas with no snow. Some nice ones, too. (AND your stove worked admirably...thanks!!)

Stratdewd was off a ways, as were stikmon and I, and chili and Tex were off in the other direction, closer together, but what I consider a respectable distance apart. Arky was off another direction, but was joined by some of the guys in the photo. They might have still been pretty close together. LOL!

This guys just made me keel over laughing with their close proximity of tents. :-)

My Okie son was born in St. Francis Hospital, when the hospital was almost brand new. At least, I think that was the hospital name. My work location was on S. Boston Ave. Are you connected with the oil racket?

Not all men like to be huddled up belly button to arsehole like that. I certainly don't. There are times when the parameters of a campsite dictate it, but I prefer to spread out a mite more. A big mite more!

Yeah, just THINK of the implications of this type tenting at TC2!!! Buddha Bear kicks the flaming stove from his burning tent... and the cascading domino of tents set up so close together means that 23 other tents are lost!!!

OHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! >8-O

Separated, the species has a better chance of surviving a bear attack-somebody should get away.

Together, bear runs rampant mauling everybody in its reach.
