Two to fours years ago I reported something like this in a post, or maybe a string. I can't find it. I believe it was Wendy's, otherwise some other fast food outfit in Minnesota and a few other states, that were testing the use of an order center located in a western state. One thing they had discovered was that the number of errors in the orders was dropping.

The thing that worried me about the concept was hearing, "I'm sorry, but your order had been delayed in Singapore."
