Death Valley Trip

“I put a trip to Death Valley for Feb 15-17th on the calendar.

Also, is anyone interested in a snowshoeing trip to Valentine Lake near Mammoth in March??”

“More Death Valley detail:

1) try to get a campsite at Mesquite Springs, on Friday the 14th (might be full because I'm going to be arriving really late). If this doesn't work out it will be backcountry car camping.

2) Meet at Grapevine Ranger Station Saturday morning the 15th if we don't end up at the same place on Friday night. Then head to the Racetrack to check it out and climb Ubehebe Peak while exploring the area.

3) Sunday might be canyon exploring or heading home if there is work on Monday.

4) Head home Sunday.
