Chili why do you perceive this discussion about scoring? I don't understand. Becoming a vegetarian is not like a competition, but some of you folks really like to make it out to be some kind of one upsmanship or something. Why is that?

mountainmaster,,,,,welcome to chili's sense of humor.....

I am not a vegetarian, I will never be. I eat very little red meat, a lot of chicken, a good deal of fish, and yes, a truck load of vegetables.

It is not one up....I mean no more by my comment than by defending my beliefs in religion or politics.

To each his own, the more you know me, the more you will understand that.

Can you imagine how boring history would be if the USA was founded by vegitarians?

Would it had been as colorful if instead of "killed a bar", Daniel Boone had "picked a ramp?"

Would James Bowie be as famous if he had killed Maj. Norris Wright in the famous sandbar fight near Natchez, Mississippi with a paring knife instead of a bowie knife?

Would a mountainman have been able to survive the harsh western winters if instead of wearing buckskin clothing he had been outfitted in a suit of lettuce leaves?

I have no problem with vegetarians. Heck, eat what you want, doesn't make any difference to me. Just allow me to eat what I want.

I could post a list of meat eaters, but I don't think Matt would appreciate me posting the contents of Phone Books, USA.
