Yep, we haven't much of the normal "sub-zero survival" thing to deal w/ in MT this winter either. There have been quite a few mornings when I went out and thought, "It feels and smells and even looks exactly like April." Skeery.

46 for a high. It's freakishly unnatural! Give me -15 and three feet of snow!

I think I need to move further north.

The warm-up to highs in the upper 40's where I am is depressing me. I want more arctic cold, dammit! And blizzards too with 2 feet of snow!

It's a balmy 19 degrees today. Seriously, the first days we had in the 20s this week seemed like a heat wave! The mornings were still below zero, but by noon everyone was commenting on how "nice" it was outside, lol. My woodpile is gettin' low, so I'm hoping the really cold, cold stuff is over.
(sorry Artex!)
Freezing rain and highs in the mid 30's this weekend. :(

Besides, I love snow! and we either have a cold winter or a snowy winter. We got the snow we have now before the really deep cold set in.

We haven't had much of a snow pack this year in grand ole SE Michigan. Me thinks all the urban spraw changes the weather around here. Too much concrete.

Supposed to be a high of 71 on monday. I think I may have to let my kids blow off homework and go straight to the ebach after school. Of course, we won't be swimming :)

All I'm saying Artex, is we don't get arctic cold AND blizzards, it's one or the other. I'm sure a weather savvy person would know why this is, but around here we just say it's too cold to snow. I'd rather have warmer temps and lots of snow cause a sub zero winter with no snow is just brown and cold and ugly. Besides, my car's been whining for weeks now, it's very unhappy about this cold!

I love snow!
