REI return policy?

they'll take it back. they sell that model in the store (but they'd also take the REI outlet return back, too)

i purchased that same bag a couple months ago. i don't like it either (same deal---not warm enough)”

“I just took back a pcoket rocket that I bought last year. The threads somehow got stripped and it would never screw on straight and seal properly on the cannister. No questions asked and they gave me a new one.”

“bit, I don't think so this time. They tried it on about 3 different cannisters and it wouldn't work on any of them. Now if someone knew the thread size and had a tap they may be able to fix it”

“I dunno, Ewker, the last time I was there, I saw Thermarest that had become delaminated. I don't know if there's any way to fix that, and it's damn near impossible to sleep on one in that condition.

I suppose the pocket rocket problem would be a safety-related problem though. It might be better to just toss it rather than take a chance someone would become hiker flambé...”

if you're a REI member you don't even have to exchange it for something else on the spot, they'll give you a store credit to use whenever if you want.”

“SS - yes they will take it back. They can pull up yer transaction and find if you purchased it through them, if they needed to. I wnet in one time to return something without the receipt. They had real fun going through my 25 pages of transactions to find that one LOL!”
