“So, I guess I'll be meeting you guys at the Fox Hollow trailhead Friday night and then we'll shuttle my car then? I'll probably get there after you guys, and if y'all are at the lean-to, I'll hike in, and then Corporal Nasty and I will head down to the parking area and do the shuttle juggle?”

I'm a bit confused about Nasty's plans too. (CORPORAL NASTY, YOU HAVE AN ORDER... FRONT AND CENTER ...ON THE DOUBLE!!!)

Pennsy, I appreciate your kind offer to hold off joining the others until Saturday morning for my sake... You're are a first-class person Pennsy, but you can head in on Friday night if you like, because I have another plan...

As perhaps the elusive Corporal is also intending, Sparky and I will hike on Saturday with the rest of you to a certain point (eg., to Panther's summit), then turn around and backtrack to my car at the Fox Hollow trailhead. The only thing I need to know for sure is what time to meet you all at the leanto before you break camp and continue the climb up to Panther... As per your suggetion above, will sometime between 8:00 and 8:30 AM be okay? What sayest thou and thine kindred? Unless I hear otherwise, I'll see you all on Saturday morning at that time.”

“I would say 8:30am is more than prudent. I doubt that we'd leave anytime before that. If for some reason we wake up earlier than that, we'll wait for ya! See you Saturday morning!”

Translation (just to be clear): I'll leave this up to you, Pennsy... If you decide to begin your trip on Saturday morning instead of Friday night, I can meet you at the Route 47 parking area (at the infamous hairpin curve) at approximately 7:30 AM. Lemme know.”

Ok Mr M... I will meet you at the rt 47 parking area at 7:30am on Saturday. This will work out fine for me because I have a bunch of things to do tomorrow after work. I won't have to rush around. Of course it means a 4:30 am departure, but ya can't have everything.

So, ya got that peeps? Mr M, Sparky and myself will meet y'all Sat morning at the lean-to around 8:30.”

“Okay, sorry for the confusion- The way things are looking for me, I'll be there Friday night, we can shuttle some cars around then if needed, and If I am doing any hiking on Sat, it'll be pretty short- I'll be backtracking to my car.”
