On the iMac at the newspaper office, the pages on this site still don't want to refresh.

I emptied out the cache the other day (can't even remember where I did that) and it refreshed maybe 3 times... but that was it.

Also, I am still getting this coding in the vicinity of the upper right hand advertising:

\n'); } if ( ShockMode ) { document.write(''); document.write(' '); document.write(' '); document.write(' '); document.write(''); document.write(''); document.write(''); } else if (!(navigator.appName && navigator.appName.indexOf("Netscape")>=0 && navigator.appVersion.indexOf("2.")>=0)){ document.write(''); } //-->

It's the Drive lizs Mad Virus.

Are you hitting the Back button, or the refresh button, or the Trail Talk Button?

I always do the Trail Talk Button, Refreshes all the time.

But I don't have an iMac, whatever that is.

If this is a double post, Sorry. First time I tried to enter it I got:
"1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 1
Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/thebackpacker.com/htdocs/trailtalk/enter_mess.php on line 39
no time warping"

Could this be the start of the Great Hard Drive Crash '03 II. I've been getting some weird things happen this afternoon, too.

For what it's worth, this page won't refresh at home when I'm using Netscape 6.1, but it will on Netscape 4.7? It seems to be fine when using Explorer at work.

Another place for everyone to check is your Cache settings. There should be a setting about how often the page is compared to the cache. Usually you can choose "every time", "when it expires", "once per session", "never". Choose the "every time" option. That should fix most people's problems.

…and you can do that in Internet Exploder by selecting ‘Tools’, ‘Internet Options’
and then ‘Settings’ (under ‘Temporary Internet Files’).

Now I'm on the home PC. It refreshes. But I just got this message at the top LEFT of the main message page -- and I've never seen this one before!!!

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/thebackpacker.com/htdocs/includes/nocache.php:6) in /var/www/thebackpacker.com/htdocs/trailtalk/index.php on line 67
