“Went to the library this evening and picked up a few books. They had some great titles. Didn't realize the library had such a good selection.

A Walk in the Woods
Natural History of Mt. Leconte'
100 trails of Big South Fork
Backpackers Handbook
Hiking Tennessee
Hiking the Smokies
Into Thin Air
EVEREST-Mountain without Mercy

Anybody read any of these?”

I'm reading "The White Rock" really good. By an explorer in Peru and the his findings. It relays recent theories on Inca culture in an entertaining manner. I highly suggest it for your reading lists.”

As for Walk in the Woods, check the archives. Some TTers, including myself, had a very different opinion of that book. My copy is still available to anyone who sends me adequate postage.”
