“I had to fire someone last week. It wasn't that bad, he was
a d*ck!”

“I think it went well. I'm assuming it's a good sign that they told me they will be contacting my references and I would be hearing back from them next week.

I think I hit things at a very good time. They contacted me to set up an interview the day after I sent them my resume.”

“If they're calling references, I'd say you're probably at least in the top 3. That's the way it's always worked when I've hired, anyway.”

“this interview was much better than the other one, i felt much more comfortable. it's all in God's hands now, i do hope it's what he wants for me.”

“I'm next. Looking for an upgrade at my current position, for now anyways. As an Engineering Technician(right now I'm at level II), you have to go through this crazy process of applying, interviewing, and a test. My interview is on Monday for a Tech III and the test is on Tuesday. To top it all off the state doesn't pay as well as the privite sector and Tech's have to test, but Engineers don't, go figure. I think if I don't get the III, I'll be looking elsewhere, well I have been anyways, like I said they don't pay $hit. Have to say the benefits are pretty good, retirement doesnt' look as good as I orginally thought. Oh well, wish me luck however it goes.....”

“not sure what i'd be trying for at this point. i'm fairly certain it's about my lack of experience on a high school campus, which i can't get without subbing. i can't sub because i'd have to give up my fulltime job and i absolutely have to have that for health inusrance and money.”
