I'm all for sticking it to the rich for being unfairly richer than me---they must be vilified and made to pay. Besides, it'll never come back to haunt me in any way, shape matter or form. By the same token, I don't like to see the poor benefit unfairly either. Please write your congressman (or congresswomen or Hillary) today to ask them to NOT give tax "rebates" to those who do not pay taxes, if indeed they will be giving us a tax rebate this year to stimulate the economy. (even though lowering taxes doesn't work.)”

“I agree. If you don't pay taxes, you shouldn't get a "rebate". My kids who are college students will get this "rebate" if passed. They both work, but their income is not enough where they have to pay taxes. It's stupid to give them a rebate for something they never paid. They don't deserve one.

The whole idea of "rebates" to stimulate the economy won't work any better than last time they tried this.
