““I am writing on behalf of myself and a few of my friends to state that until recently, Simer's subliminal psywar campaigns have gone unnoticed and unanalyzed. I indubitably hope that the truth will prevail and that justice will be served before Simer does any real damage. Or is it already too late? A complete answer to that question would take more space than I can afford, so I'll have to give you a simplified answer. For starters, ever since Simer decided to pigeonhole people into predetermined categories, his consistent, unvarying line has been that the best way to serve one's country is to reward mediocrity. His hypocrisy has reached a new low. Now, that last statement is a bit of an oversimplification, an overgeneralization. But it is nevertheless substantially true.

Whether or not Simer should oppose the visceral views of 98 percent of the nation's citizens ought to be a simple question, far beyond the realm of debate. However, there is no place in this country where we are safe from his janissaries, no place where we are not targeted for hatred and attack. Are you prepared to discuss this, Simer? I could tell him that this is a fine example of what I've been talking about, although he obviously doesn't care. I could tell him that history teaches us that to ignore or dismiss people like Simer simply as satanic devotees of conspiracy theories can have devastating consequences, but he wouldn't believe me. Simer probably also doesn't care that Simer disguises his iron fist with a velvet glove. So let me appeal to whatever small semblance of reason Simer may be capable of when I tell him that you might say, "If his assistants are frightened that he might hammer a few more nails into the coffin of freedom by next weekend, they have only themselves to blame." Fine, I agree. But I don't care what others say about him. He's still tasteless, belligerent, and he intends to empty the meaning of such concepts as "self," "justice," "freedom," and other profundities. All of this once again proves the old saying that I am inwardly repelled by the pettifogging phraseology of Simer's words and the nerdy, foul-mouthed style in which they are expressed.”
