The Sox had to win this morning. The folks who had tix to game three, which was rained out, had today as a rain date. If the Sox had won, people who bought game three tix would not have seen a game. That's just wrong!

The Red Sox prove they have what it takes to overcome adversity and rise to the occasion. We're now just two games away from the World Series. Nothing can I stop us now. Nothing.

Man, I'm going to be hurting today from minimal sleep. I'm sure I won't be alone.

Just read that Schilling's sutures on his ankle were bleeding throughout the game. That must have hurt. Got to hand it to the guy for hanging in there.

It's a one game series, now. Who's hungrier? That is what it comes down to. Boston is looking that way, and I am afraid that they may just do it this time. But, on the other hand, the Yanks are the come-back kids, so it should be a knockdown dragout tonight in the house that Ruth built!

Should be a slug fest tonight. Living in the boonies sometimes sucks. Up until yesterday I only got one football game a week (ESPN Sunday night). They finally got a local channel option for DISH network in this area and it was connected yesterday. What a game! That whole October feeling reminded me of watching the Braves/Twins series with my son some years ago. Good times.

I like the Yankees but A-Rod should be ashamed of himself. How damn blatant do you have to be trying to knock a ball out of a tagging player’s glove? They said it was incidental in the normal course of his running. Yeah, maybe if he runs like a little girl with his hands up! LOL! Great game and great series. I don’t think the World Series could be better than this.

I’m sure someone’s out there writing jokes like, “How many riot cops does it take to finish a Yankees game?”. LOL!

Armageddon? I think so.
Somehow, I think this series will still be going on next February when pitchers and catchers report - top of the 293th inning with the scored tied, 129 all. The last pitcher standing in the bullpen back in the 19th inning will have pitched until his arm fell off. Hitters will be swinging stumps of bats, all of which were long before broken.

The nation will be suffering from major sleep deprivation. Curt Schilling will have bled to death. Boston and New York fans will have paid a fortune in medical bills because they shut off their circulation wringing their hands. Steinbrenner will have fired 5 managers, and Terry Francona will have used up the last tobacco from the previous year's crop and started small stream flooding from spitting out tobacco juice. Sunflowers will have gone extinct because the teams chewed up all the seeds.

Beer will be selling at $139.95 a cup, and hot dogs will include road kill in their content because fans will have eaten up all the other meat sources. Pizza will be a distant memory.

Nig, he tried to make a feeble attempt at swiping the ball. He was out anyway. Seen lots of stuff happen that's comparable to it. The umps made the right call and I am glad that the incident didn't change the game. I want to see them win by simply outplaying them, not over a controversy or a cheap shot. So, no biggie, really...

Even the announcer said, "You're out anyway so why not?". I still thought it was in poor sportmanship. I do think the Yanks will win though.

Only if they get hungry, Nig. They looked kinda tired last night. By all rights, Boston should have looked tired too, but good pitching really got them through it. It was also getting to the point where I was wondering whether I was watching a baseball game or a documentary of Curt Schilling, narrated by Tim McCarver. They got really repititious after the first 29 times...
