They finally got a local channel option for DISH network in this area and it was connected yesterday. What a game! That whole October feeling reminded me of watching the Braves/Twins series with my son some years ago. Good times.”

The last pitcher standing in the bullpen back in the 19th inning will have pitched until his arm fell off. Hitters will be swinging stumps of bats, all of which were long before broken.

The nation will be suffering from major sleep deprivation. Curt Schilling will have bled to death. Boston and New York fans will have paid a fortune in medical bills because they shut off their circulation wringing their hands. Steinbrenner will have fired 5 managers, and Terry Francona will have used up the last tobacco from the previous year's crop and started small stream flooding from spitting out tobacco juice. Sunflowers will have gone extinct because the teams chewed up all the seeds.

Beer will be selling at $139.95 a cup, and hot dogs will include road kill in their content because fans will have eaten up all the other meat sources. Pizza will be a distant memory.
