Trip planning, my favorite thing...

Not all backpacking, but...In addition to the stuff I've got on the trip page, I've got three more trips reserved in BSP with kidlets (plus two more winter trips). Couple of charity bike tours and a century ride with a friend. Some AT trips. Maybe a trip to the Allagash, and a Canada trip. Gotta fit in my favorites in western and downeast Maine as well!

Rosey, nothing happened. I'll be going under the knife in June. Should be doing some easy dayhikes by July and back into normal BP stuff by September. Just in time for fall, my favorite time to hike.

They're kinda knife-happy in this zipcode. Employ caution.

Be sure to report to the Injured Reserve List... it doesn't matter how you get there, we don't discriminate, <G>

Nah, this is one I've been avoiding for a couple of years now. However, it has become blantantely (and painfully!) obvious that it will have to be done.

I will try to be prompt when reporting to the list in June. Until then, I'm hiking on.

Snow Nymph - It's Assiniboine (Stoney Indian for 'those who cook by placing hot rocks in water' - no, I didn't make that up) and in a word it's 'Premier' !!

well, Good Luck with all that! <G> I'm almost recovered from my last run-in with those people. I wish they'd get someone else to experiment on for a change...

Summer Plans
I've started researching hikes in Alberta for our two week trip this summer - probably we'll do a lot of short hikes instead of one long one so we can visit more of the Canadian Parks. Can't wait to see Yoho, Jasper and Banff.

Long weekend trips will probably be in Pennsylvania - we haven't been to the Bucktail or Quehanna trails for a long time, so we'll probably do those Memorial Day and Fourth of July, and we want to redo the eastern end of the Donut Hole again, if we can arrange a shuttle or find friends to go with us. The rest we'll play by ear, as usual.

Sorry they are gonna make you busted Skully :(

I have three canyon hikes planned so far--one in March, one with Ldhiker and Cindylu in April and a work trip the end of April. I think I am going to Colorado in July to hike with some girl buddies.

The Grand Canyon in April with Ldhiker, MaryPhyl and others.

Yoho National Park in August with Hodgeman, the Snow Couple and Martyb.

The Emigrant Wilderness, Ca. in October with Martyb.

Also have volunteered to work on a trail crew along the CDT in July, but that is yet to be confirmed.

Not exactly lizs. Actually, you only think you want to know the details, a description to a coworker/friend earned me a TMI award at work, lol. If you really want to know, email me and I'll fill you in. skuiicap@yahoo.com
