We Hate bacpac

“Well the irony finally got to me. I have been accused of being a ‘not so nice’ person, by lots of people whose degrading comments towards me pale in comparison to anything I might have said.

Several people have posted that I have a history of being a bad guy. I say put up or shut up. (This comment is sure to bolster their contentions.) Search the archives and show examples to support your claims. If you think I am such a mean guy, prove it. While you are at it why don’t you read some of your own comments.

“I think bacpac is guilty of having an unpopular opinion and strongly defending it.

I also think that bacpac's sense of humor is not appreciated by most here and is usually misconstrued as him being hateful. Dude was a marine. Every soldier I've ever met has a coarse sense of humor.

Other than that he has his moments (good or bad) like the rest of us.

When it is all said in done, the reason some of these folks hate me so much is that I force them to look at themselves. They don’t like what they see and they hate me for it. When I challenge their beliefs with facts and original ideas they hate me.

Since these are such ‘nice people’ they convince themselves that the reason they hate me is, because of my actions. I create an image in their mind that they cannot tolerate. To accept me requires that they admit they are wrong. Instead they lash out and attack my character, my family and my right to speak. They hate me for starting this thread.

I will never convince a liberal that conservatism is better. They hate me just for saying it.

At times I think you're pretty funny and right on, but most of the time you seem like a wet blanket. Just need a little balance, IMO. Just my two cents.”

A classic post from one of the few people on this site who has actually be to Mirkwood.

While many complain about bacpac, I know for a fact many were missing his posts during his absence during late winter.

Keep on posting bacpac, I don't expect you will win any popularity contests here, but I for one can be pretty sure that what you post is directly related to how you really feel.”
