Let me preface this by explaining that my son loves helicopters. He calls them "hideedoos" He also loves the Thomas the train toys. There's Thomas, Percy, Rusty, .... and on and on.

Saturday was my wifes night to do the bed time routine. They were doing the bed time prayers where he repeats what she says. It went something like this...Dear God, thank you for mommy, and daddy, and Emma (our 15 month old), and...our son interupts and says "Thank you for hideedoos, and Thomas...." he lists all of his trains. It was so cute.

The joy of raising children. It is much more fulfilling than anything else I participate in.

Very nice dayhiker. Life would be so much easier if we all handled it like a child does.

Enjoy 'em.

That is so very cool dude!

I know it would be crazy for someone like me to have kids my the one thing that I would like to do is show my kids the great and wild & wilderness world that to me would be great to do.

awww.. very cute dayhiker! I bet your son is adorable! I worked at a daycare for 2 years in Tuscaloosa and fell in love with so many kids! If I was ever having a bad day one of them would always say something cute to make my day worthwhile.

Kids are great. I love feeding my little cousins tons of sugar and watching them go nuts! It's hilarious!

That's so sweet Dayhiker. Newergirl grabbed my cheeks after her nap today, looked me in the face and said, "Mama, you a cutie." I almost cried, it was so adorable.

I should have another niece arrive in a day or two....I'm anxiously awaiting! (But not as much as my sis-in-law!)

my son went to Cub Scout camp with treebeard (his dad) when he begged his father for next weeks allowance. he went into the camp store and bought me the most sweetest stuffed racoon animal. when he gave it to me I cried, because he new how much I wanted to go camping with them this weekend and couldnt.

I hugged him because that one little jestur(sp) pulled at my heart strings
