Just wanted to say G'day to my mates here and extend a warm smile from the upper flanks of the Nysqualley Glacier this mornin'..
Like I said, made it to my new home here at the base off Rainier....not too bad i say....3 nights a week Im up in camp Muir and chillin' with the rest of them at 10k.
I miss home aswell as family and the dear friends which I hope miss me......along with the X-sheilas which make me miss it more. My life now is finally different enough to say that it's wild and crazy every day learning new things about glacier travel that will keep me alive through out into my 90's....I hope...lol
I'll be leaving tonight to try a hand at my 1st accent of the "Willis Wall", Not all the way up it, but just some day squandering around the crevasses just above high camp at 9k and get up to speed on some rescue senarios we are beginning to play in order to sharpen up skills.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello to those that know me, and to those that don't know me.....well all I can say is ......see u on the mountain, and I hope we meet in good weather...
