We had so much fun I ran out of memory on a 128 mg card! I was taking pics, not knowing I wasn't working! Duh!

Our condo in Mammoth appraised today, so now we wait for the loan, and will get hitched at 11,053' when escrow closes. Our realtor is a minister, so he'll marry us and hand us the keys to the condo! So now it looks like that might be around March 14 or 15th. We'll post when that happens, and if you happen to be in Mammoth, you can take the gondola ride to the top and join us!

I remember you telling of a girl who "mistakenly" took your board (hers was similar to yours, except for the bindings (I think)). You got it back from her just as she was about to get on the ski lift.”

“Jan 12th, we "forgot" to close/lock the racks, drove off down the windy road. When the speed limit went up, we heard a thunk, and saw a car swerve. We got SnowDude's board back, but mine was gone. We drove up the mountain twice looking at anywhere it could have fallen off. I had reward signs out, but who will return a fairly new top of the line board? I've been using SDs old board since. It'll be nice to ride my own board! And on fresh powder!”

Anybody remember who forgot their camera gear on the roof of their car. Luckily the person had parked for the night at a motel...when he/she woke up...the gear was still on top of the car.”

“Just re-read your post. The girl who tried to swipe my board had a totally different board than mine. Mine was off white and hers had color. She tried to get a better board and I was lucky I caught her. She wouldn't even look at me when I grabbed my board, and when she went back for her board. No apology, no nothing. It wasn't an accident.”

“That was the weekend I headbutted a sheet of ice. I didn't know what a concussion was, and got back on the board the next day, but was very, very, very careful.

If I were thinking straight at the time, I would have kicked her @ss! J/K! I should have turned her in, but was shocked that she had the b@lls to do it and not say 'sorry!'.

Since then, I don't leave my board for even a second.”

“That someone could have been me. Snow Nymph has 5 Webshots accounts and only has room for 200 more pictures, so I've been helping her edit through some of the old albums. I told her I could help her out in my spare time, which I seem to have plenty of lately, with this seemingly non-stop rain here in Southern California. I have to look at pictures with blue sky in them to refresh my memory!”

I have been snowboarding every weekend since opening weekend (Oct 20th). Mammoth got 82\" in Oct. Have not had time to update the thumbnails on my website, but the latest is on the 1snownymph account. In 2 weeks or so, I will start using snownymphjmt, snownymph, trailho, or snowdude2002. The links are at the bottom of www.snow-nymph.com .

Its been pouring in SoCal, but Mammoth has been getting dumped on! We were in Mammoth for 10 days for Christmas and New Years. I made the trip to Death Valley with Calhiker (Dec 27-28) and since then Mammoth got 158\".

Last Friday Hwy 395 closed, snow level was 44 miles north of Mojave, and we heard horror stories from people that turned back, but we took a chance and drove up. Packed the jeep with sleeping bags, shovels, warm clothes and rain gear, prepared to sleep out if we had to. We must have hit it between storms, because the drive took 6 hrs instead of 5. Not at all what I was expecting from what everyone said. It was a fun weekend riding throught the trees. Only a few lifts were open, but the lines weren\'t bad, since most people backed out. Let me know when you come to CA again. Don't know if/when I'll get out to TN. Made it out to CO last April and visited Margaret & Deborah. I won a photo contest so that's what got us out to CO. Wish I had more time off to travel to different states!”
