don't ask. I bought it way back then (about 2 years ago). Really wanted an internal pack.

??????

I did that over a year ago with a Primus yellowstone cannister stove. But it was on sale and calling to me. I've never attached the cannister to the stove yet.

Gemini, I love my Yukon, until I grew a foot and it no longer fit. Now my kelty tornado is great, $89.00

I got a Trekker 4300 for Christmas, and don't backpack in da winter so i couldn't say for sure. But it seems sturdy, and big, the main two pockets are huge.

I think so, but just like I said, I have never used it. Seams like you have a lot of room in this pack. I am not sure about the size though. Do external packs come in different sizes or do you adjust them for the user? I have no clue. I know they put a couple pins in for me back then (to make it fit)

Externals are usually very adjustable. That's one of the reasons they are used for kids and scouts aside from the lower cost to buy them. I know on Camp Trails you can adjust the shoulder width and height. The hipbelt can also be adjusted up or down a few inches. I think Kelty is similar.
