another Euro firm worth looking at

they pioneered soft-shell one-layer stuff years ago. Fantastic stuff! - highly recommended

I have one I bought from bpbaby. GREAT BAG!!! Love it. It reminds me a lot of a Lowe Alpine bag I had, which disappeared with that evil ex-boyfriend. I didn't know much about Jack Wolfskin either, but it's great. Mine has a sleeping bag compartment on the bottom, with zipper access on front. Or, on the inside, you can leave the drawstring for that compartment open and pack more stuff.

I have a JW trailhead 3
It is absolutely awsome...a load monster and extremely comfortable...ask Stalker...my pack weighed 55 lbs on our rocky mtn hike...it was as comfortable as anything...I had it at TC2, you should have checked it out then...comon up to Missouri and do a hike with me, you can use it for yourself and check it out. I can use my ROKK...another great pack, but the JW is in a class by itself, thats for sure...mine was 195.00.

I was going to buy a JW pack...really great pack. I went for a Karrimor (British co.)...which was about $40.00 cheaper. Btw, I heard and read that JW stuff is really good.

I have a Jack Wolfskin Trailhead 2 pack and a JW 3/4 Wolfmat. They work for me. I would say the quality is a little better than Eureka and about the same as Lowe Alpine.

I have a Jack Wolfskin moondancer day and a half? pack. I am thinking about trying some weekend trips with it if I can get my pack weight down.
It is an awsome pack I really like it. What size/style are you looking at?

they do have a wesite I think they are distributed out of Canada. They were also in last years BPer magazine gear review.

But the perks are great!
