Lyra's adorable Sods adventure
Her Adorableness gathers her adorable sock monkey children about her and tells them an adorable tale about an adorable princess who had an adorable adventure in a wonderful, beautiful and far, far away on top of a mountain where everything was so adorable it made her puke.

Do you ever real any of the great american authors? Like Arthur Agatston, Robert C. Atkins, Eric Schlosser, or Karen Katz?
Man, you are missing out on some great reading!

BTW, thankyou for your concern about the tornadoes. The previous whirlwinds hit towns other than the one in which I reside. However, last night we had a twister hit our fair city. Not to worry, your favorite uncle, Dunadan, came away unscathed, as did his house.
I did happen to see a few of those flying monkees during the storm, though. They look exactly like the ones in the Wizard Of Oz.

What does it mean?!!
What jumped out at me in this rather sad story of the 'liberation' of the Iraqi mental asylum was the quote from the only guy who stayed: "I don't want the monkey to see me and I don't want to see the monkey."

"Six monkeys, set to strum unintelligently on typewriters for millions of years, would be bound in time to write all the books in the British Museum".
- Thomas Huxley

Apparantly not:
“The lead male got a stone and started bashing the hell out of it. Another thing they were interested in was in defecating and urinating all over the keyboard.”

Story here or here.

When I was at home eating lunch today, I was flipping through the channels and came to Animal Planet. There was a lady, wearing a bathrobe with...little monkeys on it, giving HER monkey a bath in the kitchen sink. Is there something you're not telling us, lyra?

Are you a star and not telling us?

Well you see…

She was considering marrying the guy in the last frame to keep him as a stay-at-home husband to do housework while she pursued her career. She consulted with her garbage man (who doesn’t about important matters) who gave her the great advice that a house full of monkeys was preferable to marriage (so true).

LOL, apparently the cash flow is strong and has better value with trained monkeys than with the guy with the homemaking skills...

Lyra and here I thought you knew everything about trained monkeys
