First off, I make no claim to be the voice of reason. I try to use reason and evidence and when I think someone is wrong, I try to offer convincing evidence for it.

Secondly, there is no contradiction between being the voice of reason and setting the sheep straight. If I thought I was doing them both, I would think I was doing them at the same time. However, that sounds like a frickin boring job.

I am still trying to figure out if my utility stock dropped in sympathy, or for some other reason. It's a blue chip, so might have been a combination of factors. Gotta do more research.

Three weeks later we had a hiccup in the market...he BAILED.

In fact, I would not be surprised if the DOW breaks 14,000 again this year. The economy is doing well, unemployment is in check. Housing market still sucks though and money is expensive to borrow.

The drop is not a bad time for everyone. Bargain hunters are loving this I am sure.”
