Doesn't even have to be you, newgirl. Your sister or other family members could have done it, and kids learn quick.

Good pt. Bit. My sister stays w/ her bf for the first 1/2 of the wk. all the time. She always tells Newergirl, "If you be good for mommy while I'm gone, I'll bring you a present." The present is usually candy. I didn't take it seriously, but now I see how Auntie Evil has warped my kid. LOL!

Yep! That's it alright!

Nothing wrong with rewarding a kid with candy occaisionally, but doing it all the time can be a real problem. Bribing a kid to be good is also not a good idea.

I love honey in my coffee.

I think that my digestion deals with it a little better also. I feel more energetic after drinking coffee with honey than with refined sugar.

In the morning I usually just use the refined but in the afternoon I use honey. Wawa has the little packets.

StoveStomper must love us. We buy the economy-size squeeze bottle and use it up well before it can even think of crystallizing. I think we put it in just about everything around here.

Poor kitty (just kidding)! Actually, the cat likes the sticky stuff too.

Yep, beekeeping is a sweet hobby.

I got into beekeeping because I loved honey and wanted a source of local honey. I keep my hives at my nearby parent's country home (my neighbors would freak if I put them in my subdivison).
I have allergies to most pollen in the air. Eating local honey is supposed to help lessen the effects. I like to think it's helping.

A friend of the family keeps bees and we always had truly fresh, unprocessed honey on the table when I was a kid. I think I may be addicted. I don't want help with it, though ¦ ) .

skully, the first step is admitting you have a problem. The second step is to get rid of the thing you're addicted to. Send me an email and I'll send you my address. Mail all your honey and honey products to me. I'll take care of them. Really, I will.

Ever come across a honey you didn't really like? There is one kind I don't like too much, wish I could figure out which one it was. Maybe it had been processed or something, but it was nasty...

Yeah. Crystallized honey is nasty, I hate it. Honey should never be gritty. Yuck!

Bitpusher, I once bought some lemon flavored honey, it was NASTY.

Cinnamon honey does sound good. I think the best honey I ever had was that creamed honey they were talking about. That stuff is gooooood!
