Geez, I was gonna whine about only 20 or so but I guess ol' Hodge didn't do much better.

This was my weakest year in the last, well, at least the last 4 or 5.

31 bag nights and tons of day hikes for me so far this year. Hopefully, I've got at least 5 more nights out there planned for the year.

Hey B-man, I think my backyard's about the only place in BC that isn't getting pounded with snow right now. Even the local Vancouver ski hills got a couple of feet. All major routes to the interior were shut down. Ski season starts this weekend Woo Hoo !!

Hey Gem I know all of your trips must have been very pimp so even thought you have only 17 bag nights they are all good ones I am shure.

The Results Are In.
For 2003 I had 55 bag nights.I did not make my goal for the year but I have been in the 50+ bag nights for 2 years now which is good in my book.

The last trip for this year was a nice Privite trip with me and my sweetheart for 3 days in Hoosier National Forest.

So how did eveyone else do for the year?

Nothing to be sorry for...the other thread topic just seemed like a good tongue-in-cheak title.

I got 20 total. If I'm around 24 (2 per month) than I feel like it was a decent year. Frankly, I think the hikes should be given more credit than the nights slept incamp.

However, I didn't include the concert/festivals I attended where I slept in my tent, or the times I slept in my van...but neither were ontrail.

Bag nights--sounds really bad!!
I'm thinking--last Jan is a long time ago. Somewhere around 25 plus boat camping of three or four.

does anyone keep track of their bag nights on backpacker.com?

This year you can enter your mileage as well...but it isn't working quite right just yet.
