I'm trying to read a thread and all of a sudden, PLOP!, right in the middle of the page there appears an ad, bouncing all over the damn page, offering me a million frequent flyer miles. Just tell 'em to give 'em to me and stay outta my face!!! This is really annoying!”

“Norton internet security comes with a good pop-up blocker.

There are a few free ones available at download.com.”

“OK, I tried closing my browser again, and I refreshed TT until it showed up. Apparently they are creating a temp cookie that expires when you close you browser. Just don't close your browser, Geo! I never close mine unless I absolutely have to.”
