“TD, do you mean the Springwater? By the parthenon? If so it is a dive. Man what a dive. It made Maxims top 10 dive bars in the nation. It is a hole, but it's one of the coolest places to catch a show. What time and what is his name or bands name?”

“If it is the Springwater that place has to be the dumps by now. That place was there when I use to hang out at Centennial Park and were talking 30-35 yrs ago when I was long haired, drug taking, beer drinking hippie but they had good music.”

An old ballroom in my town just burned down over the weekend. It was the site where Buddy Holly played the night BEFORE his Surf Ballroom performance.

So this ballroom burned down. A friend and I were talking about how they used to have teen dances in the basement and how, had a fire started, we would have surely died cuz there was only one stairway out.

Just want to make people think about EXITS at nightclub/dive bar locations. Nothing bad meant. Sorry.”

“Also, at this ballroom? Second fire in two years. First one obviously did not total it. This one started just hours after the ballroom had been rented out for a frat party... and it had ended. I read employees maybe left around 3 a.m.? The fire call came at 6:15-ish a.m.”

“lots of apts in Nashville and depending on what area of town you want to live in. There is a apt guide which is pretty good, it has prices of the apts but dont go by that.

“OPIE--what do you do in the transportation field?? I have a friend that works in the Averit Express office in Nashville that I could shoot an email to and see what openings are available. I think he works in the accounting dept. but may be aware of what they have to offer.

Miss Opie--I will keep my ears open for you, I work in the health care field, so I meet w/ carriers and I can see if they have anything out there. Nashville has a lot of opportunities for you in that field.

“People think the largest industry in Nashville is the music bus. It is not!! It is publishing and healthcare. You shouldn't have any trouble in that field if you have expericne. The Belliview area is probably the cheapest place for apt but it is too far from everything. You need to try and get a short time lease until you have a chance to look around and see where you want to live. If I can help you can e-mail with a phone number and I will call you. Let us know.”

“BTW--Antioch will be cheap to live, but I would suggest you stay away from that area. It's a little sketchy.”

“I don't think Randy will have trouble getting a job, he has alot of experience. Me on the other hand just doesn't seem to have any luck finding a job. I have lots of experience in the health care field and I have a degree business administration, but my experience is more entry level. I don't have what people want to see on a resume. I've applied to tons but haven't heard from any.”

“I have 9+ years in the Transportation industry..looking at Dispatch, Dock Supervision, Operations Management. Something with freight and logistics. LTL, TL, regional, national.

Averritt would be a good one for me to kinda know someone on the in so my resume would at least get read.

I interviewed in Spring Hill monday, and it was a nice small growing town, and may have potential with the job.

“I went through Apartment Selector, a free service- I gave them my specs (2 BR, $500, area ) and they sent me floor plans on places they represented. When I got to town, they met me and we saw the ones I selected and it was easy to narrow down from there. I pay $605 for a 2BR Townhouse in a nice residential area only 3 miles from Radnor Lake. They have 1 BR apts here too
from around $500. It's called Audubon Park.”
