It's normally not my kind a movie (need to see guts and need to have action and all that good stuff), but pay it forward was really really good.” 9:28:11 PM 3/13/03 “Anyone remember "Zardoz" with a very hairy Sean Connery?” 10:01:11 PM 3/13/03 10:01:49 PM 3/13/03 “Seems like there was a hairy guy in Barbarella... don't think it was Connery, tho'.” 10:10:21 PM 3/13/03 “oh oh!! I usually hate John Travolta, but recommend these movies to anyone: Phenomenon Michael (plus, opening parts of Michael were filmed in the country near Anamosa/Stone City, Iowa... Grant Wood country) I LOOOOOOOOVED both these movies! Are there any other good ones by him out there?? Just him as a Joe Blow human being and not a cop or creep like in Pulp Fiction (I liked that, am looking for another type movie here)” 10:32:15 PM 3/13/03 “8 legged freaks” 10:37:01 PM 3/13/03 “The best movie of all-time is Harold and Maude. Ruth Gordon turns me on. ...and the LOTR movies are 'bout 10 times more enjoyable then the books. Tolkien was a great, and boring, author. I think Terry Brooks, who is entirely derivative of Tolkien, tells a more exciting story.” 11:30:18 PM 3/13/03 “Treebait, I've seen Zardoz... trippy movie (at least when I was a kid) Harold and Maude is a favorite of mine!” 11:33:37 PM 3/13/03 “The Ring” 11:33:40 PM 3/13/03 “Pay it Forward could have been a great movie, but the dumb asses had to kill off the kid in the end. I was so pissed at such an arbitrary ending that I will never watch it again. The same thing with the Kevin Coster flick "Message in a Bottle" (I think that was it). Great movie, all the way up to the point where they had him die. stupid stupid stupid. I love Zulu. have watched it at least 20 times to, but I always think of it as Rourke's Drift and forget that it is called Zulu. The big myth of this story is that the outpost was attacked by the same group that wiped out the entire army the day before. it was actually a smaller tribe that arrived late for the party so they attacked Rourke's Drift instead. I can't believe none of you losers agree that Braveheart is the greatest movie ever filmed. oh yeah, and Excaliber was a damn fine flick too.” 11:40:18 PM 3/13/03 Lizs “Travolta was in a really great flick called 'Primary Colors.' He played (what is definitely supposed to be) Bill Clinton and Billy Bob Thornton was James Carville. It is a super movie and Travolta really shows himself to be a fine actor. Kathy Bates is also in it. I recommend it wholeheartedly...” 7:59:53 AM 3/14/03 “Thanks, treebeard, for the suggestion. Will have to look into that one. Hyway -- and we always love the people who give the ends of movies away. grrrrrrrrrrrr. Just say IT WAS A VERY DISAPPOINTING ENDING and let it go at that. sheesh! lol” 9:11:26 AM 3/14/03 “They are old movies. If you haven't seen them yet you probably weren't likely too.” 9:13:19 AM 3/14/03 “Has anybody else seen "Scotland, PA"? I thought it was an interesting take on Macbeth, but I'm a real Shakespeare nut too.” 9:14:16 AM 3/14/03 “lmao@liz hyway, yeah what's up with that? I was trying not to give any movie ending away. But you;re right, the ending was futsched up!” 9:16:20 AM 3/14/03 “Thanks for blowing the endings, hyway.” 9:16:59 AM 3/14/03 “I don't want anyone to ever seen either of those movies again. I want them to bomb so that producers and directors won't ever end a damn fine movie like that again. It is my quest.” 9:25:52 AM 3/14/03 “I think that "Pay it Forward" not only ruled, but the ending is what made the movie make sense. it's not enough to care about people and be a good person but YOU HAVE TO DO IT NOW because there is no guaranteed tomorrow” 3:12:27 PM 3/14/03 “Chitty chitty bang bang!” 3:12:58 PM 3/14/03 “Eventually there would be a thread where that comment made sense...” 3:13:36 PM 3/14/03 “The Devil's Backbone (La Espina del Diablo). It's a well made ghost story” 3:14:20 PM 3/14/03 “Seems like there was a hairy guy in Barbarella... don't think it was Connery, tho'." Tilt 10:10:21 PM 03/13/03 Tilt, I am worried about you. Why would you remember some hairy guy when you had a young and hot Jane Fonda to look at.” 5:09:20 PM 3/14/03 “You guys do know they're doing another version of "Barbarella," right? Starring Drew Barrymore, I believe.” 5:12:06 PM 3/14/03 “Thelma and Louise :D” 5:17:12 PM 3/14/03 “treebait, with the way times have changed since the original movie came out this remake should be very interesting :)” 5:19:35 PM 3/14/03 “The Usual Suspects” 5:28:14 PM 3/14/03 “Noooooo Ewker... !! Nothing like that, LOL I can think of a few other ladies I'd rather see in that role than Drew Barrymore....” 6:43:51 PM 3/14/03 “my favorite movies list: -O Brother where art thou -Star Wars: Return of the Jedi -Three Kings -Patton -Mafia -Raiders of the Lost Ark” 7:00:52 PM 3/14/03 Memento! “If you watch one movie in a year, you need to see Memento. Strange, but the best I have seen in a long time. It's a thinker.......” 7:04:06 PM 3/14/03 SNEAKERS!!! “Sneakers is old but its funny, and great plot. Great cast!” 7:32:42 PM 3/14/03 “Bottle rocket Novacaine Corn Dog man Limbo The Sweet Hereafter Full Metal Jacket 84 Charlie Mopic Mosquito Coast Raiders of the lost Ark Empire Strikes back Usual Suspects Snatch The Mexican Harold and Maude Gallipoli Apocolypse Now Zebrahead” 7:59:09 PM 3/14/03 “Gallipoli another classic I forgot about! Also--- Repo Man The Wrath of Kann The Day The Earth Stood Still Quest of Fire Cherry 2000 (Molly Ringwald at her sexy finest!) Bachelor Party Death Race 2000 Clerks Alien 1 and 2 Godfather 1 & 2 Scarface (phuck you, mang!) Fantasic Voyage Titanic - old and new version (all I have to say is Kate Winslet....hubba...hubba..drool....drool....) Breakfast Club 16 Candles Terminator 1 and 2 Fast Times at Ridgemont High (DUDE!....I'm sooo wasted!!) Conan the Barbarian Field of Dreams (I did cry) and a bunch of others that I can't think of right now.” 8:14:27 PM 3/14/03 “thanks laqtis, you just listed all the movies I forgot. Conan, my god, how could I forget such an excellent romp. I named a favorite dog, Valeria, after the blond in that flick. And cheery 2000 wasn't molly ringwald, it was Melanie Griffith at her sexy finest! before she decide that she was a Hollywood Diva and became a Biotch.” 9:21:42 PM 3/14/03 “yep! that's right! Molly was in the SciFi movie that was a 3D movie.....Something Something in the Adventure Zone, maybe? Can't remember the name. They had some great vechiles in it though!” 9:29:26 PM 3/14/03 “Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone I cheated and went and looked it up. I remember this movie now, although I also remember why I forgot it in the first place. Molly ain't fit to wear Melanie's panty hose.” 10:03:31 PM 3/14/03 “Just watched "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" again. Great movie.” 10:56:17 PM 3/14/03 “It took me a while to find this --- it was hiding in the signatures. 'Fletch' aliases: "Nugent. Call me 'Ted'." "Barbar. Arnold Barbar" "Dr. Rosenrose, Rosenfield, Rosen, ..." "Liddy... Gordon" "John Cocktoast" "Harry S. Truman" Oh, and L.A. Confidential... and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” 9:50:14 PM 3/15/03 Tilt “Don't forget "Harley Davidson!"” 10:12:08 PM 3/15/03 best movie of recent days... “The Banger Sisters Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood Y Tu Mama Tambien My Big Fat Greek Wedding I seem to like less and less the stupid mundane movies that Hollywood churns out. I want movies that I can relate to and that leave my thinking about life, love and friendships. Bruce Willis sucks...Bond Sucks...Arnold sucks...These movies are just rehash garbage. you all really put up some great movies...I'm glad for the opportunity to add my recent watches to the list.” 6:08:44 PM 3/17/03 “"The Draughtsman's Contract" It's a Brit flick from the late '80's, I think. Very bizarre. Especially the guy who thinks he's a statue, ans waggles his winky at one point.” 6:11:09 PM 3/17/03 “Should I ask what a 'winky' is? (didn't think so) OH, and Of Course, " TARGET="_blank">What's Up, Tiger Lily?” 9:28:20 PM 3/17/03 “Rented "Below" this weekend. I thought it was a pretty good suspense/horror film. Takes place on a WWII American submarine.” 9:58:26 PM 3/17/03
