I about spit my Cheerios this morning. I don't know why I flipped on MSNBC but I did. I guess the subject of the Greek Orthodox Church was being discussed. Some chicky that I don't recall ever seeing before asked why the Greek Orthodox Church was allowed to be built on Ground Zero in the first place..........

“I think y'all can stop pretending that Faux is a "real" news source.

I can just imagine the noise if any of the other networks donated $5 to Democrat.”

OH SHEEET VILE

You'll never guess what he says he found -- 235 journalists donating to Democrats while only 20 gave to Republicans for a total of $225,563 to Democrats and $16,298 to the the GOP-inclined.

That's small potatoes moneywise in terms of the nearly $1 billion collected so far in this election cycle. But Tate sees a valuable built-in bias among Democratic journalists for candidates of their party.

Last summer Bill Dedman at MSNBC did a massive research project, examining political donations by journalists over several years and found a similar overwhelming number of Democratic journalists (125 of 143 political donors while only 16 gave to Republican candidates and two others were bi-.

At these emotional times of presidential campaigns, certain to grow even more intense before Nov. 4, bias is often in the eyes of the beholder.

Those same donation figures could also be used to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Republican journalists are a whole lot stingier than their liberal colleagues

The Republican Party is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch (a foreigner).

I guess they weren't paying attention when Newt Gingrich et al. pushed through a Custom Immigration Bill with Murdoch's name on it — so he wouldn't go bust. He had already leveraged himself to kingdom come investing in American television (primarily sports).

The only problem was that As A Furrinner, Murdoch wouldn't be allowed to keep his broadcast rights and his Whole Empire would've gone down the freakin' toilet without a lovely bit of legislative legerdemain to make Him and Only Him a fully fledged Citizen, leapfrogging Lard Knows how many people who had waited for Years – they just didn't have the Fat Ass Wallet to pay off the Right people.

So Yeah, the creeps bailed him out.

Mods - I didn't realize this obviously fuego thread was misclassified.

Please re-classify it as fuego.

I wonder if it wouldn't be too much of a project to run through the archives and flag obvious threads for re-classification.

One never knows.

Warning and banning notices are completely generic and don't mention specific offenses so one is left to guess what is a punishable offense and what isn't. They do mention posting fuego to non-fuego threads - I have no idea if this is against the secret rule book or not.
