Fox News host Shepard Smith is known for demanding fairness at a network that often isn't balanced. On Tuesday, Smith went so far as to apologize for a report that only interviewed one of the three candidates in the New Jersey gubernatorial race. Fox News reporter Shannon Bream only spoke with the Republican candidate Chris Cristie.

After the interview, Bream told Smith that they had asked to interview the Democratic candidate, John Corzine. "We have in multiple requests, and when it comes in, we'll let you know."

"Wow. I didn't know that was about to happen. My apologies for the lack of balance there. If I'd had control it wouldn't have happened," lamented Smith.

Air the one they had and explain that the other guy wouldn't talk to them. How is that a lack of balance?

Recently a lot of hubbub had been made about the possibility that the peaceful tea party protests and some conservative voices would stir up emotions that could lead to violence. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was even one of those sounding that alarm.

But what has gone unsaid by those same voices has been the possibility of violence against those who might take a position antithetical to that of the left.

Case and point: CNN's Lou Dobbs. Dobbs, who has been the target of a smear campaign by the left-wing noise machine, told his radio audience on Oct. 26 that his home had been shot at three weeks earlier.

I am guessing the same rounds shot at Hillary Clinton in Bosnia were shot at Lou Dobbs.”

“Chili, I actually do listen to NPR quite a bit. I regularly catch "Fresh Air" and "All Things Considered" as well as their plain ole news feeds and even local programming, including a killer Friday night Blues show....but here's my point

I'm sure, being an honest person, you would agree that they are somewhat left leaning...not that there's anything wrong with that, but they are and what's more is that they are government subsidized. I listen to them so that I get "that" side of things...for a healthy balance. Now, what kind of world are we in for if that's the only source we have? Honestly, is that what we want to become as a society? It's like an Ayn Rand novel...or George Orwell. It's absolutely not what this Nation was ever intended to be and our Bill Of Rights forbids it....but this radical group of progressives will still try as hard as they can to achieve those results and that is a very dangerous and unhealthy thing. There is already talk about bailing out big newspapers and as we've seen, when you take government money, you will be force to play by their rules.

Let's be reasonable and hold to the standards that the Constitution outlines. You wouldn't be happy is it was flipped the other way around and neither would I. You may think I'm overreacting but look up Mark Lloyd and Anita Dunn on youtube and you'll see why I'm concerned, and why any any reasonable American should be too.

What kind of world will the next generation inherit from us?”
