What we need to understand about MarkO and his Ilk is that they deep down cannot handle that they lost the elections. They also have a deepseated guilt that their President (Billy Boy) handled the Islamic Terrorist threat so poorly that 3000 people died on 9/11.

Of cource the Invonvenient Truth for XL was that 9/11 happened on Bush's watch, under a 'national security' advisor he later promoted and who seems to be enacting a foreign policy which is failing at every turn..
His reaction to it - invading Iraq - led by the incompetant Rumsfeld and the Chairman of Halliburton, has created more of a terrorist threat to America than existed in the first place.

What's XL's answer - to try and blame Clinton.

And for that matter - where the hell is Cheney these days?
Where is Condi taking the initiative and setting foreign policy goals rather than being two plays behind the game clock.
Where is Rumsfled with some new ideas to try to improve the situation in Iraq.

Where are they? - they are all in hiding - because the rest of the Republican party and the American people as a whole, know they're #&%!$ed it all up.
So they stay in hiding because they are frightened that if they step into the limelight then the GOP will lose in November.

They know it's so bad that they're in hiding from the American people. Can't be much room in Cheney's 'secret location' these days.

The Inconvenient Truth is that the Bush administration had been in office 8 Months the first three of which the Liberacrats (heck lets call them who they really are THE CLINTONISTAS since Bill and Hill run the party like little robots) refused to let Bush appoint a Staff.
So now we look at the briefings from the ORAL administration...we find that Islamic Terroisim (despite what a bunch of Attacks on American Interests) rated...here it is..ONE FREAKING Sentence.
So Five Months, no pass down of intel and now it seems the entire Clinton policy was to watch football and get a BJ.

The truth is most of the Clintonistas want more deaths in America so they can say," See this administration is just as incompentent."
Pretty sad wanting your own nation to suffer so you can legitimize the most corrupt administration in history.

"Pretty sad wanting your own nation to suffer so you can legitimize the most corrupt administration in history."

That's exactly what the Dubya Regime is doing.

"....first three months..."
After January 20, 2001 it was Georgie's ball and he dropped it.
Dub's national security advisors wanted no help from the previous administration and the rest is history.

MarkO is so silly.
Klinton had 8 years, did nothing, Bush had 8 months, all the while Gore was disputing the election, and the Dems would not approve Bush's government picks.

I told a family member in October of 2000 that we would be attacked soon because of the Clinton administrations deterioration of our intelligence agencies. I said we need to elect somebody who will then counter attack and not give in to the UN.

I didn't know who was going to be in office at the time, whether it be Gore or Bush. I just knew it was going to be Clinton's fault.

Sure enough, I was right. You Bush haters need to face reality.

We can’t really blame Clinton. Terrorism is not a reason to go to war. Covering up an affair, though, is.

I wonder what actual evidence is behind the assertions in the report. There's always been more radical jihad types than there've been meaningful terrorist opportunities (i.e. terrorism that poses a global threat). I'm not too concerned about some muslim peasants in the middle east or Indonesia getting angry and vowing terrorism. With all the inroads we've made with intelligence agencies and militaries around the world since 9/11, it seems unlikely that a network on par with AQ would rise before it was noticed and dealt with. I could be wrong, but the evidence would have to be strong and totally absent of politics for me to believe that the terrorst threat is *worse* now.

Iraq is now all about Iran and the middle-east in general once Saddam was taken out.

LMFAO - That's because whenever something goes wrong you look around you trying to blame anyone but the failures of this Administration then find Clinton.

The right failing to have accountability for their failures - how very predictable.

And Moonglo - really those on the right have no justification for accusing anyone holding differing opinions of not seeing the bigger picture, when the Bush boys and girls are making such a mess of foreign policy on a daily basis.

Who should we blame for the WTC attack?
moonglo
10:27:06 AM
9/25/06

Lets call terrorism a disease.

A disease your doctor fails to spot early enough letting it develop. He fails to spot it because he is incompetant at his job.

This is disease your previous doctor had been treating, with varying degrees of success, but the new management at the hospital fired him and lost the case notes.

A disease the new team treat badly, using wrong medicine and actually make things worse - infection sets in and the patient deteriorates.

The disease is ultimately to blame - but the doctors could have kept it under control instead of making things worse.

In this example, those on the right hold the doctor in no way responsbile or accountable for not doing his job.

To try and cover for the incompetant doctor up by blaming the disease itself.

They also accuse any other doctors recommending any other treatment as supporting the disease itself.

That's how stupid the argument being put forward by the right is.

ya who should we blame. Kind of like it was the goverment's fault a hurricane hit New Orleans. I mean serouisly Bush has a little joy stick in the White House so he can send hurricanes any direction he wants. Thats why durning an election year none so far have hit the US with any major damage.

And Incon Truths anaolgy is just about as dumb as a box of rocks. What makes you think that Clinton was doing a good job of controlling the terroism. The USS Cole was bombed under his watch wasn't. Oct 12 of 2000 is still Clinton

Yes - who'd have thought that a government body, run by a Bush political appointee, was in any way responsbile for responding to a national disaster.
America obviously doesn't deserve leadership at these times. Under attack on 9/11, fly as far away as you can! Hurricane about to hit New Orleans, everybody go on vacation or maybe buy some shoes.
