Ah, that caramelized crust of sugar, so crunchy and delicious. The creme underneath, so light and tasty! The perfect end to a sumptuous dinner.

Creme brulee is easy to make. It'll give me a chance to test out the blow torch I got for CHristmas. Restaurants often use a blow torch rather than a broiler these days. It's much faster.

debauchery, I remember that. It was quiet really, just me and the Creme Brulee
Scouted out bits of Maryland Sunday though. Need to get to know that area a bit better.

yeah, it looked ok, everything is still pretty well in winter mode though, can't wait for the leaves to start bursting out. I didn't go very far from the car. It was more a trip for me to get an idea what the area was like, as apart from heading up I-95 I've got no idea about these places, what the terrain is like, anything really.
