Mike and I splurged :) I got a new internal pack. Its Kelty and orange and BIG! Its like 4500 cubicinches or something (man mike is a gear slut. Im the type to throw anything on my back and say its fine. He had to examine everything on it and made sure it fit and we went through this whole serious mental checklist or something) cause he hated my externalpack LMAO. Also he got me a long ass thermarest, you know those inflating thingys? Never had one of those before....He ays I will stay warm on it...I hope it works beter then my 3/4 little foam pad does! Oh yeah and get this we needed a large vertical stuff sack which we found at the Army Surplus store for only 8 bucks!!!!! And its way better then the granite gear brand...with cool funky colors :) Mike wants to go back and get more of those things. Hes all jeolous that I am using it this weekend and he has to use the granite gear one LMAO. So one more piece of gear tho we didnt buy it. I turned my old foam pad into a seat for the grond so its not going to waste :) Now after work today we are going to hit the trail and I will see how I like a internal frame.”
