“Opie, my son got me the Roadie XM satellite that way I didn't have to get a new radio. You just use the cassette player attachment. I also sent in the rebate for the home kit so I can use it at home also.
The stations I listen to still don't have commericals”

“I got new Asolo boots, but I'm not sure I like them all that well yet. I only did a dayhike in them so far and by the end of about 8 miles or so, my feet were pretty sore (no blisters, just sore). Not sure if it's because they aren't broken in or what. Will wear them more often before I go hiking in them again.”

“I guess the holiday slowed it down. I ordered it on the 27th early in the morning and Altrec took two days to get it to UPS--two non holiday days. So it's been in transit from WA since 10/29. Usually it takes 3 days from REI in WA to OH since I live near a major UPS hub...but it's supposed to arrive on the 7th...that's the longest I've ever had to wait for gear.”

It's 12" by 8" and made with 200 grams of thinsulate. I'm looking forward to keeping my food and drink warm on the next winter hike.
