“Wow -- Great comeback! (April, May, June... just 7 months?) I guess it's true what they say about breaks versus sprains... That ankle sprain messed me up for lots longer than 7 months.

“This weekend we hiked the Grandview Trail in Grand Canyon, the one where I broke my ankle. I THINK I found the spot, although it's hard to tell. Anyway, I hiked past it on the way down, and again on the way back up.
No incidents this time!”

“Didn't take very many pictures on this trip. My hands were mostly busy gripping my hiking poles.

“no, I've stayed put. Our trips to Colorado in the past year have been by car. But I HAVE had to go through security at the courthouse. They guy there said it wasn't my metal parts that were setting off the beeper, but the metal parts on my hiking boots! Go figure!”
