“I just heard about this. For $35.00 a year you can create your own maps and print them out. There are alot of things that you can do in the websites. Has anyone heard of this? It almost sounds to good to be true. I love maps and this sounds like its righ up my ally! mapcard” 1:16:14 PM 4/02/03 1:17:06 PM 4/02/03 “hey, its 'editor's choice' from backpacker magazine.. it HAS to be good. * smirk *” 1:32:18 PM 4/02/03 “topozone.com is free.” 1:37:16 PM 4/02/03 “but you can add things, like a campground or a water source to the map. can topo do that?” 1:39:11 PM 4/02/03 “There are ways to copy the map and pull it up in Bitmap, then make all kinds of changes or additions. Mapcard sounds like a good program. I'm just too cheap to spend $35 a year on it.” 1:47:44 PM 4/02/03 “I think they are somehow related to either topozone or the other site. (forgot the name). I remember doing this bp website for someone and their affiliate program included topozone and another site.” 1:52:40 PM 4/02/03 “I like the idea that I can get info on Lakes and waterfalls and include them on my map. I like to hike near lakes. (hint hint)” 1:56:02 PM 4/02/03 “All topo maps based on USGS maps show lakes.” 2:26:34 PM 4/02/03 “i want my map to show trees” 2:43:36 PM 4/02/03 “LOL @?” 3:03:02 PM 4/02/03 “but I feel that this site has more of an interaction to it.” 3:06:53 PM 4/02/03
