Mmmmmm crawdaddys.
You have a mighty hard time finding "real" cajun in Indy. There is one place on the south side called Zideco's that has Crawfish, and et toufe' (sp?) etc... but that is about it. I love good cajun cookin, and devour all I can get when I am down that way.

Is there a web cam at this party? LOL! ;-)

I'm looking at the Pink Pony webcam. What that thing needs is a chat screen underneath the cam window. That would be a hoot to talk about the peeps the camera is on

Let's see. If you were watching on Saturday (6th) at 12:47, then you had a pretty good view of where we were at on the sand drinking beer.

Oh, BTW, Divinity is no longer a virgin at eating crawfish. She was slamming them down pretty well.

The cooking/party went on until about 1 in the morning. We cooked 75 pounds of crawfish and 5 pounds of shrimp.....along with corn and potatoes.

Off to the beach for 10 days... i'll be 10 steps from the beach at all times, unless I'm on it or out getting a new case of beer.

Ah, I love summer vacation!

Don't backpackers get altitude sickness the closer they get to sea level?

Easily cured by beer and watching the bikini-clad women wildlife as it walks along the beach.

I think we're about to book 4 days in early July. We're looking at Cape San Blas which is east of Panama City, FL. It's off the beaten path and cheaper than the Gulf Shores to PCB corridor.

Anyone read about how Ocracoke Island has been picked as the best beach in the US this year? We went to Ocracoke last year when we stayed in the OBX and drove down for the day. Loved it and want to go back... now the entire US will be there...
