I think Katibug is doing the Montgomery Bell State Park overnight trial the weekend after Memorial Day.

There is a trip to the Smokies on June 13th with clem45yeah. Look at the Big Creek thread. I don't know if she has any openings or not but if she does and you want to go you can ride with me. You would have to take that Friday June 13th off though.”

“Ewker, I got an email this morning from a ewker @ blahblah. I figured it must be you. It was a virus. Just wanted to give you a heads up.”

“I didn't send you an email, plus I don't even know your email address.”

“Don't the virus mongers just steal addresses and then use them to propogate the virus? I got an e-mail this a.m. telling me I sent someone a virus from my home e-mail. Yeah, right. Plus, I've gotten them from courthouse addresses etc. and I doubt those people are sending viruses out from their home e-mails. Oh yeah, and got one from a friend, too, with the dreaded .pif on it.

Gotta be super duper careful and THINK at least twice before going to open any attachments!!”

“I didn't figure you sent me one. The latest batch of virus do this and send things out without you knowing. I thought we had emailed before the Savage Gulf trip. Guess not. I'm just warning you that you might want to scan your system.”

“when did you get the email. I have been out of town since this past Friday afternoon and just got back in late last night. I didn't check my email until this morning. I always go through and delete any emails I dont recongize.”

“I got it about 8 this morning. I'll go back and get the full address. I didn't pay that much attention to the end of the address because I didn't think there would be too many Ewkers out there.”

“It was a netscape account and I see that yours is comcast. Also, I got the same email from a tharrell@xxx which is stalker. Stalker doesn't post much anymore, but I see his address on emails from chili.”

“Road Runner filters all attachments on incoming mail for me. It cleans them, if necessary, and gives me a message about it. It usually reads:

"The following attachments were deleted due to an inability to clean them:
1. party.exe: W32.Netsky.B@mm"

It further state: "Road Runner does not contact the sender of the infected attachment(s) in the event that they were not actually sent from the indicated party.

Please contact the sender directly to alert them of their issue with infected files if you wish to do so."

This has only happened on one of my addresses. My address for nowslimmer has not been involved.

“whew, just glad it wasn't me then. someone just copied my name and stuck it to something else.
I have done a search before for Ewker and there is one other person who has that name.”

“Most email addys and headers are forged. So it doesn't matter who The mail says its from its probably not from them.”

“I have gotten dozens of the same emails w/ virus'. They always have a FWD and aren't messages sent intentionally from the person. Yahoo mail always catches the virus, and I bet Norton would if yahoo didn't but I just delete all messages with FWDs unless I know it's coming now.”

“Yeah, I get tons of these everyday, just never with a name that I know that also happens to be a pretty unique name. If the name had been John or Mike then I wouldn't have given it another thought.”

“There are several viruses out there that pull any one that you may have come in contact with addresses and send emails...

But Ewker,,just saw your last webshots album ...hey I didn't harley recognize you!! Looking good keep up the good work.
