“Like Artex ,I have a couple throw away e-mail address I use for signing up to various things...one is all junk mail so I never bother checking it, a couple others are for sites like this (no offense Matt) and "the other" site that I use when I may be interested in folks contacting me, then I send them my real address.

“FWIW....if that webmaster is manually harvesting email addresses from relevant message boards...then I think it is still wrong but I have a much higher tolerance for that than I do for the real bulk-mailed spam. If this is just some hard-working webmaster pursuing sincere interests and hoping to make a buck or two...I wish them the best.

“I'm not bored or anything but I just translated that to Spanish then French and back into English. It makes a little more sense now:
