You addressed me as a "Fellow Hiker." Where do you hike? You did not include any information or details about your hiking experiences.

Since you signed as "Business Development Manager," I was wondering what might be available for your contributors or reporters. Will there be any salaries or discounts on gear purchases?

Also, as a programmer I'm interested to know how you obtained the list of prospective reporters. Did you write a program to collect the information or did you possibly find one free or at a commercial site? If you did it by hand, as implied by "I noticed one of your postings in the Trail Forums," you sure did a lot of work.

I wish you success with your enterprise. Any information, which you might provide, will be appreciated.
