“I think that I might be good but, I might need help hanging the banner. I have to go get lighting and some poles today. I have a pop up canopy already. I paid for electricity outlet on the space I will be at. So, i should be all set there. Just need to figure out how to rig my banner up and I should be good. You know how to fix things. I could definately use your help on getting the banner up.

“Jerbear called and said hes in Damascus..He found the campground ok but he also found alot of poison ivy around..The Bear did not sound happy..

We will try our best to find a suitable spot where ever it may be.

Im not sure what the plans are for the weekend hike wise but I just found out today my daughter was asked out to the Prom..We just got back from runnning around town searching for the non exsistan perfect dress..but found something relatily close..whew..

So I am thinking of hitting the trail thursday afternoon and hiking to early sat morn..theres a stretch of the AT I havent completed around Damascus yet..

“We decided to meet at Binkleys vendor tent..Its in the park where the caboose is..He will know where we are setting up the tents.”

“I'm all packed up and ready to leave tomorrow after work. I'll probably roll into Damascus around midnight. I got in contact with my friends, and they are trying to save me a spot, so we'll see if I need the spot you are saving me evergreen. If not, I'll let skully know and she will let you know if I can't find you for some reason.

“OK, guys: Looks like I may come up on Friday morning (tomorrow) and be there for a couple of days before I head far South to visit family for a week or so. Hopefully, I will get to meet some of you. Any hints for a fist timer as to how to pack? It sounds like I will be close enough to my car not to need my pack?”

“That's right, my fists are timed quite well, so WATCH OUT!”

“I brought my pack anyway because, well, it makes a great suitcase for the necessary gear, plus the top converts into a daypack, and there may be, you know, some hiking going on.”

However I agree. In fact, I would bet the next time TownDawg wants to bring up TC3, he will create a new thread other than take time to search for existing ones.”

“Since my last post (about 6 hours ago), my whole life has changed. For the last couple of months, my wife and I have been scrounging for capital to open a high-end German furniture store in mid-town Atlanta. Today, we recieved word that our investors are on board and we will be opening in Atlanta July 1. So, to make a long story short, I've changed my plans again, and coming to Damascus tonight, as I won't be traveling on afterwards to visit relatives due to lack of time. See you guys there! Look for a green Volvo wagon with a mountain bike on top.”
