Buffalo River May Trip

“I did an overnighter on the Buffalo from Carver to Woolum two weeks ago. It was great. Wouldn't have wanted the water much lower, though. (It was 5.1 at the Hwy. 65 gauge)”

My friends from Philly will not be attending, so...I will be there earlier...hey, I'm having de ja vue...did I already post that in the main trip thread...well if I did, then I did again...anyway...the rains are a comin this weekend, hopefully it will rain one more time before this trip, just not 3 days before like last year. I'd like a clear and clean river to paddle on. But, I;ll have to email God to make sure that my request is granted...If anyone else goes on out to the river between now and then, It would be great to get the updates on conditions...I'm truely psyched for this event and seeing everyone again. “I can't make it because I volunteered to lead the hike from Richland Creek to Woolum for the OHTA. It's the final one in the end-to-end series this year.

You'll have a great time on that section of the Buffalo.

I floated from Carver to Woolum a month ago and it was great. Skull Bluff is awesome.

The OHTA is floating an overnighter from Woolum to Tyler Bend on June 7 & 8 that I plan to be on that. Maybe I'll see you then.

This trip is almost upon us...time to start layin the gear out and pack it up. I just ordered a new dry bag to use as my kitchen...should be here on Wed/thurs next week.
