I've just posted a trip for the Adirondacks, May 1-4. I sure would like to meet some more TTers and hang out again with those I've already met. Why not come along? If I get out of hand, Pennsy will be there to slap me onside my head (j/k!). Even if you don't want to climb peaks, there are a great number of dayhikes in the area.

Give it some thought!

Hey, Cap'n,
I'm pācking this evening for Couchs, Santanoni and Panther. I'm adjusting my crampons for my leathers and putting up extra food for my buddy whose wife just decided he can get away for a two-nighter. I might be able to swing a trip with you. Please give me the details, dougmurdoch@yahoo.ca.

Bobo, I am a definate no. My wife just reminded me that we have to work that weekend at a boat show. Would really like to get up there sometime, maybe later in the summer.

Hey, Cap'n,
You have mail. I thought you were talking about this weekend. As I said in my reply, you have picked a very difficult and wet trail. Try to get up to the lean-to on the Opalescent River as a base camp. Do Grey after Redfield, it's short, but it's a bit¢h and you won't want to go back. You can do Skylight and Cliff from there, too.

Good luck.

Oh yes, go to viewsfromthetop.com for weather and trail conditions.
