Backpacking Naked

but for real, i can't think of one good reason to do that. it just boggles the mind...

that reminds me of my sociology class, thinair. we had to do something that violated "social norms" or whatever. my friend made herself look like she was pregnant, and we went into the grocery store holding hands. lame! LOL.”

I do this occasionally, only when alone.
I never really thought of myself as a "one of those" nudist type people.
The first time, I found myself hiking alone on a warm day, hadn't seen anyone all day, didn't expect to. Took off the t-shirt, nothing but running shorts on, and couldn't resist the temptation to drop those too. Kept them handy just in case I ran into anybody. It's really pretty liberating.

In camp it's pretty hard to resist also, when the sun is warm and you're resting and there's no one around.”

that is a major turn off. hey Ive seen some of you hikers and I have no desire to see any of you butt naked after a long day on the trail....j/k

“There must be some group of people that like to go hiking naked. They have a national day for it. I think I could in the perfect conditions. Someplace remote, weather is just right. Bugs not too bad, not too much brush. I don't know if I would hike with a group of people. That would seem silly to me.”
