Jim thorp PA “My Venture crew is going white water rafting and paintballing in Jim Thorp PA on may 3,4th. I just was noticed that Skirmish USA does not have campsites, so can some one help me find a camp site for 20 or so people near Jim Thorp PA that wont charge me money. Thanks for your quick help.” 12:50:58 PM 4/22/03 Just stay at the... “YMCA” 12:53:06 PM 4/22/03 “Jim Thorpe - can't help you off the top of my head, Tea. Especially for 20 people! Do a websearch.” 12:53:08 PM 4/22/03 “Hickory Run State Park has group campsites. There is a fee, but I would think it would be reasonable if the cost were spread around.” 12:55:08 PM 4/22/03 “hickory run may be your best bet; you won't find a place for free. there might be a hostel at tobyhanna.” 12:59:25 PM 4/22/03 “you should see if there are any Scout Camps in the area. Or maybe a local Troop could put you up somewhere.” 1:42:02 PM 4/22/03 “The only other thing I can think of would be to camp out near the parking lot along the AT near Back Oven Knob. But that parking lot draws a lot of local weekend beer parties by the looks of things on Sundays.” 2:01:31 PM 4/22/03 “I think you should forget PA and come out west :D!” 2:17:01 PM 4/22/03 3:25:01 PM 4/22/03 “just search for camping in mauch chunk.” 3:46:36 PM 4/22/03
